Latin America

I can´t choose just one country to visit, I would like to visit every place in the world but there is one area that I would like to visit more than the others that is Latin America. I would like to visit this area, because as a Chilean girl I'm part of Latin America but all the people that I know that have traveled throught this continent tells me that Chile it's so different to the other Latin countries. So I would like to visit it for the culture, the nature and the history that I feel that is part of my history too.


I would like to learn about their history, learn and hoppefully meet the native cultures and the people who lives there. I know that the people from there are symphatic and they bring you hospitality.
I have asked to people that have visited those countries and they told me that is not so expensive like going to Europe for example. But visiting the common places like Macchu Picchu or Rio's Carnaval is expensive. Also I have asked for places to visit and I think that I would like to visit these ones yes or yes:

                                      Maya's pyramides
                                     Amazonas

I haven't thought about to study in a place from this area (ignoring Chile), but I would really like to work in some of these countries, or maybe not in there but working for these countries being part of Latin America UN because I know that those are places that need help, that are looking for progress, and there are a lot of things in which I think I can help to make them better.

    I really like to visit another countries of Latin America too, definitelly my first destiny would be Antigua, a city located in Guatemala.

    Latinoamerica is a great continent, I don't know all your country. I'd like to travel to Colombia!

    I think Latin America is really beautiful, you have many climates and different cultures, without a doubt I would like to know the countries of our continent

Why this career?

When I was coursing last year of school, I didn't know what I wanted to study but I just had the idea that I wanted to study something in which I could bring help to the people.  When I took PSU I still didn't knowing what I wanted to study so I expected get the score for to discard options. Postgraduate course?

I would like to make my postgraduate studies in another country because I think that it would be a different experience in which I would learn in a different way than we learn here and also I will meet a lot of people, a different culture, and different way how other governments solve their public problems. I don´t know in which area I would like to focus for to take a postgrade but I think that public policies, decentralization, public management or statistics would be an option. Being more specific, I like the topics about children, poverty, inequality, enviroment and education, but the topic that I really love is about native people, because is a problem which no one has been able to solve in a good way and I want to help to solve the problem with all that I have, so I think that is important to learn about how other countries have solve the multicultural problems inside their countries, for example, Australia. My future Job

Well, it's easy to say in which sector I would like to work because I'm studying Public Management, so I going to work in the public sector. The difficult think to say is specifically  in which area of the public sector I would like to work in. I think that I would get bored easy staying all day in an office, I really love the work outdoor but for what I'm studying, there are 99% of possibilities that I ended working in an offic, but I'm of the idea that every place could be a nice place to work if there are nice people. If I'm going to work in an office, I really would like to have visits outdoor, principally in the area in which I'll be working. For example, if I'm working in CONADI, I would like to visit Región de La Araucanía for to see with my own eyes where and how the public policies its been implementing. About the salary...
